About Freya
Freya is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart and then never gives it back.
She's loving, playful and incredibly soft-natured, with a calm presence that makes her a joy to have around. She adores pats, and cosy cuddles in bed, and you'll often find her kneading away happily on blankets or beds while making biscuits like it’s her full-time job.
She's playful in the sweetest way and she loves watching the world go by from a sunny window.
One of Freya's most endearing quirks is her tiny, baby-like “maaa” instead of a proper meow. She'll greet you as you walk past, follow you from room to room, and make adorable air biscuits when she’s lying down getting pats. She’s a quiet little companion who always wants to know where her people are.
Freya is very cat-social and has lovely manners with other cats. She enjoys their company but is respectful of boundaries and will happily give space if another cat isn't in the mood. She's also semi harness-trained (or comfortable wearing one), with great potential to continue training for gentle outdoor adventures.
During quarantine, Freya found being alone quite hard and would cry when she heard people or other cats nearby. Once she was released into the home, she completely blossomed into a calm and affectionate lady. She thrives with companionship and would benefit enormously from another friendly cat or a home where someone is around most of the time. While she’s capable of independent time, she loves checking in, following her humans and chatting away to her cat friends.
Freya is a loving who wants nothing more than connection, comfort and company. If you’re looking for a gentle shadow with a baby-soft voice and a heart full of love, Freya might just be your perfect match 💗

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
