===========================================================
Loki is a confident, outgoing young cat who appears to have received 100% of the ginger gene, and yes… the internet stereotypes exist for a reason.
He is not destructive, but he is cheeky, clever, and full of personality. Loki is curious, bold, and entirely unapologetic about his life choices.
Food security is important to Loki. As his foster carer discovered, he cannot be trusted around unattended food supplies. A closed box of wet food is merely a challenge, and given the opportunity, Loki would happily eat a week’s worth of dinners in one sitting. When confronted, he shows no remorse and is mildly offended if his efforts are interrupted.
Loki is affectionate and people-focused. He likes to be involved in whatever you’re doing and has no concept of personal space. He can be a bit of a clinger and will happily supervise household tasks, including keeping your feet warm during litter tray duties. If you’re nearby, he would like to be closer.
He is very social and confident, more likely to investigate new people than hide from them. Loki would suit a home with older children who enjoy interaction, or an adult looking for an engaged, present companion who genuinely wants to share their space.
What Loki would love in an owner
A good sense of humour
Someone who doesn’t mind a cat who wants attention now, not later
A household where “if you’re sitting, that’s an invitation” is an accepted rule
Someone tolerant of a cat who will escalate from gentle taps to loud opinions if ignored
Occasional catnip (which he thoroughly enjoys)
A home where food is put away properly and promptly
Loki has excellent litter habits and is very comfortable living indoors with people.
He is affectionate, bold, entertaining, and deeply people-oriented. Loki was originally a stray who heard another cat being fed and simply walked inside to join in, very hungry and completely uninvited, which sums him up perfectly.
If Loki sounds like your kind of cat, he is absolutely worth meeting. He does not disappoint.
