🐶 Meet Lucy – A High-Energy Sweetheart with a Cuddly Side 💗

Lucy is a young, high-energy girl with the sweetest disposition. She absolutely loves being close to her people — if you’re standing, she’ll happily plonk herself between your legs, and if you’re sitting, she’ll snuggle right up against your shoulder. Affection comes very naturally to Lucy, and she’s gentle with everyone she meets, from adults to older people and young children (she used to lived with a 2-year-old children).

Lucy is friendly and happy when meeting people both at home and out and about. She can be a little wary of strangers at first, but once she sees her humans interacting positively, she warms up quickly and becomes friendly. Inside the house she has good manners and settles well.

She walks nicely on the lead and is eager to learn. Lucy already knows come, sit, stay, and down, and responds well, showing great potential for further training. As she’s still young and full of energy, she would suit a confident dog owner who can continue her training, provide regular exercise, and help her channel her enthusiasm in positive ways.

When left outside without enough exercise, Lucy may dig in the grass or chew plants, so she does best with adequate physical activity and mental enrichment. She enjoys playing fetch, is playful and submissive, and loves interactive time with her people. She has some recall and continues to improve with consistency.

Lucy has lived securely behind a 1.8m colourbond fence and has never attempted to jump, showing she respects boundaries well.

As Lucy is still young and eager to learn, she will thrive in a home that can continue her training, socialisation, and provide regular exercise. With the right guidance, she has all the makings of a confident, well-rounded adult dog.. 🐾💗

✈️ I CAN FLY TO PERTH! ✈️

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
