About Bonnie
Hi there, I'm Bonnie, and I'm just about to turn four months old. I'm a German Shepherd puppy, meaning I'm a highly intelligent, loyal working breed with long legs, even longer ears, and a snoot that practically begs to be booped. My two brothers have already found their forever homes, and now I'm patiently waiting for mine.
Like many young German Shepherds, I can be a little shy at first. I think carefully about the world around me and like to take my time before jumping in. Since spending time in foster care, my confidence has grown, but I still love staying close to my people and checking in with them often. Having that reassurance helps me feel safe and secure.
Being a German Shepherd means my brain is always working. I will thrive in a home that understands the importance of training, routine, and enrichment. Puppy school, ongoing training, and mental challenges won't just benefit me, they're essential to help me grow into a confident, well-mannered adult dog. I'm very food motivated, which makes learning fun and rewarding, and I love having a job to do, even if it's just learning new skills.
I'd likely do well with children who understand gentle handling, and a calm, friendly dog sibling may help build my confidence. I'm happiest when I feel included as part of the family and supported as I learn and grow.
If you're looking for a thoughtful, intelligent puppy who will reward your time and effort with loyalty, affection, and a deep bond, Bonnie could be the perfect match for you.
