Goji

Just like the little superfood berry she’s named after, Goji is gentle, delicate, and full of quiet magic. She has the kind of sweetness that doesn’t shout for attention… it simply melts into your heart and stays there.

Goji absolutely adores affection and will happily snuggle up with her foster carers for cuddles, chin rubs, and soft pats. She’s the sort of kitten who purrs at everything, purrs while playing, purrs while being stroked, and purrs just because you’re near her. Her love language is 100% purring.

Even the way Goji plays reflects her gentle nature. She loves chasing a feather wand, but will often stop mid-hunt to lean into a soft pat or ask for a sweet little chin scratch. She plays like she loves, softly, delicately, and with trust.

But Goji’s story hasn’t been an easy one.

She came into care after being surrendered to one of our vets, having been attacked by a dog. While she has healed beautifully physically, her early trauma has left her feeling a little unsure. She can be a little nervous around sudden movements, and she’ll need a home that understands that a little patience goes a long way. Goji is looking for someone patient, kind, and calm… In return, she will give you the kind of love that feels like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day, comforting, steady, and healing.

Please note that Goji will need to be an inside cat for safety due to her fair skin. Cats and kittens with light noses and/or ears are more susceptible to getting sunburnt, and in turn, getting skin cancer. 

All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
