About Bitty
Meet Bitty, a beautifully natured Turkey. Hand-raised from just six months old, Bitty has blossomed into a friendly and gentle companion. Bitty has an inquisitive and sociable personality, which will bring warmth and joy to anyone lucky enough to welcome him into their lives.
Bitty's current owner has shared that he is a music lover and will happily coo along to tunes. His favourite treat is a simple slice of bread - we've been told that he will even show an adorable happy dance, expressing his love for a treat of bread.
By day, Bitty loves to explore his surroundings, showing off a little adventurous side to him, but you'll often find him picking a quieter spot near his coop. With a flock, we are sure that Bitty will feel at ease exploring more. Bitty likes to be up high.
Bitty has been described as 'very friendly and accustomed to people'.
Bitty is currently being cared for by his family, but is looking for a new home as his current owner wants him to have his own flock and experience life beyond what his current carer can provide.
Bitty would thrive in a home full of companionship and opportunities for more exploration and socialising.
The ideal home for Bitty includes:
- A secure coop with a perch or high resting spots for Bitty
- An open free-range area with natural cover to prevent him from feeling too exposed (especially while he settles into a new environment)
- Company of other turkeys or birds
- A gradual introduction method, such as keeping him in a nearby separate enclosure, so he can get used to the sights and sounds of the main flock.
If you're seeking a companion to bring endless joy to your flock, look no further than Bitty. If you believe you can provide Bitty with a caring, vibrant home where he can shine, please click the 'Apply to Adopt' button below to start your adoption journey today!
