Meet Lilly and Chica, a gorgeous bonded pair of little “potatoes” with huge hearts and so much love to give.

These two sweet girls are naturally a little nervous when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness they blossom into affectionate, loyal companions. Once they feel safe, they love nothing more than curling up on your lap, snuggling close, and playing together—often wrestling each other before settling down for a nap.

Don’t let their small size fool you—Lilly and Chica have big appetites! They currently eat from slow-feeder bowls to help them enjoy their meals at a healthier pace. They’ll also happily help you stay on top of kitchen cleanliness with their enthusiastic crumb patrol.

Both girls attend doggy day care at NBKC, where they continue to build confidence, improve social skills, and enjoy regular exercise.

Lilly has a mild condition where her back legs are slightly splayed. It doesn’t slow her down—she just has a slightly wonky walk that adds to her charm.

Chica is the playful one who loves her toys and happily entertains herself. Once she trusts you, she’s a big fan of belly rubs and will soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.
