About Kip
Meet Kip, a lovely big-hearted 45kg boy who's looking for a patient, committed home to help him shine. Kip can be a little reserved at first but warms up with gentle handling, happily taking treats and leaning into affection once he feels safe. He enjoys toys, knows some basic cues, and walks calmly while staying alert in new environments.
Kip is friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company, though he can be boisterous and will benefit from guidance with polite play, and may be able to go to a home with a suitably matched canine companion. Kip is still learning about life indoors and will need time, structure, and positive training to build confidence and settle in.
Kip may be able to go to a home with older, respectful children who are used to larger dogs. With a large and secure yard to stretch his long legs in, ongoing reward-based training, and understanding adopters who can manage a large, enthusiastic dog, Kip has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion.
