About Misfit
This gentle little lady was dumped when pregnant and then saved from the streets prior to having her kittens. She was clearly loved by someone as she is very affectionate and attention seeking. When she came into our care we discovered quickly she was scared of other cats. She was likely targeted by other cats when left alone on the streets.
While we waited for her to have her kittens, she just kept getting bigger and rounder. Finally she gave birth to 7 kittens who were all healthy and blessed with their mum's sweet nature. They have all gone on to their forever homes and poor Misfit is still waiting for her opportunity to make it out of rescue and find her family.
She is in a communal space and because there are other cats present with her she has found her safe place and claimed one of the cat cages. She does not come out ever as she is scared of the other cats. She does chirp and chatter as soon as she hears you come into the cat room and waits at the door of her cage for you to come and lavish attention on her.
We would recommend she is an only cat and think she would do best in a quiet household.

The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
