Flossie

Once in awhile an extra special dog comes along that deserves a wonderful forever home.

Flossie is a lovable seven-year-old Border Collie cross who is searching for a calm, quiet home where she can truly relax and feel safe.

Flossie had to have an eye removed but it doesn’t stop her from doing anything.

She would thrive with a retired or home-based family who have plenty of time to spend with her, and she’d absolutely love having another friendly dog as a companion.

Just a little reminder……Flossie is not a bouncy young dog who loves going to cafes and dog parks. She prefers to hang around at home with a bit of ball playing and discussions about life in general.

Flossie adores the simple joys in life — tennis balls, mealtimes, long naps during the day, and a peaceful routine. She’s not a café or busy suburb kind of girl, and would be happiest in a semi-rural setting, on a few acres, or in a quiet country town where life moves a little slower.

She’s a gentle, soul with a beautiful temperament - she has a lot of love to give …..

Flossie is wonderful with other animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and children, and she especially enjoys cooling off with a swim in the dam.
