About Buster & Harry
*In foster care in Petesham, Sydney*
These two make a fantastic pair! They've been overlooked and we don't know why. These boys are the best of friends, will happily play and snuggle together. They'll share everything - including your lap!
Confident and fearless, Buster comes across as one of life's adventurers - but he's got a serious soft side too! When he's not playing (and sometimes even during a play session), he loves to get snuggly with his foster humans - purring the whole time :) He's a true social butterfly who adores the company of people!
Harry is a bold, self-assured gentleman has sparkling eyes that see everything and extra-chunky paws that were made for adventure. He's a true 'people cat' with a heart of gold and a voice to match! As the resident conversationalist in his foster home, Harry's always the first to greet you at the door and the first to let you know exactly when his food bowl is looking a little too empty...
Like all Maggie’s pets, Buster and Harry are microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: will include toys and laps! We love a wand toys and love to play and explore. But our favourite spot is your lap - couch, bed, work chair - I'm not fussed!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Harry is the one with high energy while Buster is the quieter boy. But they keep each other entertained.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: We haven't met any tiny humans yet, but we're open to it!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: But any nice cats already in residence at your place would also be amazing :) Dogs, though? Well, I couldn't say - I've never met one! But we could give it a go?
MEDICAL NOTE: Buster has a sensitive tummy which can cause a reaction to his skin. This is easily managed through diet, he eats an allergy specific food and it keeps him in excellent condition!
Medical notes
Buster has a heart murmur that has been investigated by the cardiologist and diagnosed as a Ventricular Septal Defect.
The report states: "Small restrictive VSDs do not require therapy. Buster has a good long-term prognosis and may have a normal life-expectancy. No cardiac medications are indicated. A recheck echocardiogram is recommended when Buster is 9-12 months of age."
Buster also has suspected Eosiniphilic granuloma complex.
It can cause itchy leisions but is easily controlled by a low allergy diet. EGC is not curable, but treatment is easy and cost effective and He is expected to have a long and healthy happy life.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
