About Buster
*In foster care in Macquarie Park, Sydney*
Confident and fearless, Buster comes across as one of life's adventurers - but he's got a serious soft side too! When he's not playing (and sometimes even during a play session), he loves to get snuggly with his foster humans - purring the whole time :) He's a true social butterfly who adores the company of people!
Some of Buster favourite activities are settling down in arms and laps for hours as you work or watch TV, so he'll flourish in a home with plenty of hands-on attention. A friendly feline playmate to bond with would be the cherry on top!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Buster is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with loving humans who'll spend plenty of quality time with me, playing and cuddling (emphasis on the cuddling!). I adore feline company too, so another nice cat would also be wonderful :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! I have heaps of curiosity and endless physical energy, so I devote a big chunk of every day to investigating new spots and racing around on mystery missions. But once I'm done, you can expect a snuggly visitor!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any tiny humans yet, but I'm open to it!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: In a purrfect world I'd be adopted with my sister Lucille, or my brother Harry (or both!). But any nice cats already in residence at your place would also be amazing :)
Dogs, though? Well, I couldn't say - I've never met one! But we could give it a go?
Medical notes
Buster has a heart murmur that has been investigated by the cardiologist and diagnosed as a Ventricular Septal Defect.
The report states: "Small restrictive VSDs do not require therapy. Buster has a good long-term prognosis and may have a normal life-expectancy. No cardiac medications are indicated. A recheck echocardiogram is recommended when Buster is 9-12 months of age."

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
