Speckles is a young Pilbara special with a coat full of character and a personality to match. With those adorable little spots scattered across his fur, he looks like he’s been sprinkled with a dash of mischief and a whole lot of charm.

True to his name, Speckles leaves a trail of smiles wherever he goes. He’s curious about the world, quick to make friends, and always ready for a game or an adventure. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring the backyard, or curling up for a rest after a busy day, this spotted sweetheart knows how to make every moment count.

Speckles is currently in foster care with a loving family, where he’s learning all about home life, routines, and what it means to be part of the family. Because he’s in foster care, we know his personality and can help match him with a home that suits him best.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
