RRocky is a gentle, sensitive young boy who is searching for a calm and patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. New environments and unfamiliar people can make him feel quite unsure, and he may initially prefer to keep his distance. Although he can be touch‑avoidant at first, Rocky builds trust with time and kindness. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys soft pats, head scratches, and the reassurance of gentle affection from the people he knows.
Compared to his brother Bebop, Rocky is the more confident of the pair, but the boys truly thrive when they are together. Their bond provides comfort, stability, and security, helping both dogs feel more relaxed and at ease. Rocky and Bebop are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together. They are also open to having a third friendly dog in the home, as long as introductions are done slowly and respectfully. Both boys have a big weakness for roast chicken, which is the quickest and most effective way to help win them over.
Rocky is still working on building confidence on lead, so he will benefit from gentle guidance, calm encouragement, and quiet, short walks close to home. This slow approach will help him feel safer and gradually learn to enjoy his outings. The boys will be best suited to a peaceful household with older, respectful children, and a meet‑and‑greet at the time of adoption will help ensure the right match.
