About Annecy
🌴 Bonjour! My name is Annecy. I’m named after a town in the East of France. People call it the "Venice of the Alps," and just like my namesake, I am elegant, charming, and absolutely unforgettable!
😻 Life started out pretty well for me, I was born into a loving home and have been around humans and cats my entire life. That stable upbringing gave me a confident and secure start to life. Because I have been around kind humans from day one, I am very well adjusted and brave.
🐾 Because I grew up in a loving environment, I am wonderfully socialised. I’m not the type to hide under the sofa when guests arrive; I’m the one greeting them at the door with a tail held high! My absolute favourite thing in the world? Tummy rubs and pats! If you start scratching my belly, my "purr motor" starts running immediately. It’s a very soothing sound, if I do say so myself. I’m a natural explorer. Whether it’s a feather wand or a cardboard scratcher, I’m on the case! I love to investigate new sights and sounds—everything is a grand adventure when you’re this cute.
🐈 I take my duties very seriously, especially when it comes to "Work From Home" days! I love supervising my foster hoomum while she works. You’ll usually find me sitting right on the desk, making sure every email is typed correctly. If I’m feeling a bit sleepy from all that hard work, I’ll curl up right under the desk near her feet. As long as I'm nearby, I'm a happy kitten!
🛁 I’m quite good at grooming myself and keeping myself clean. However being a medium-haired cat, I have a coat that will require a bit of maintenance as I get older and my coat matures. I’ll need you to help me with regular brushing sessions to keep my coat in tip top, runway-ready condition to help me looking my best.
😸 I am very social. In my furever home, I am okay to go to a home that already has a friendly resident cat. I did live with a resident cat in my foster home, and I got along with her famously. However, I was adopted and then returned because the resident cat used to bully me. Therefore I will need a period of adjustment if I go to a home with another cat.
I take great pride in my litterbox etiquette. I have a perfect record—never missed the box once!
🏠 I would be perfectly happy in a home with young children. I’m looking for a family that will appreciate my purrs, encourage my adventurous spirit, and keep my coat looking runway-ready. I promise to pay you back in a lifetime of cuddles and unconditional love.
I’ve got my bags packed and my motor warmed up. Are you ready to bring a touch of elegance into your home?
