Hi, I’m Merlin.
Yes, I know… very handsome. I’ve been told I have that wise, soulful look — the kind that says I’ve seen a few things in life but I’m still ready for my next big adventure (preferably one that involves snacks and couch cuddles).
I’m a 9-year-old Border Collie x, which basically means I’m clever, loyal, and very devoted to my person. I’m not here for chaos — I’m here for companionship. I’m what they call a proper companion dog. If you move, I move. If you sit, I sit. If you’re making a cup of tea, I’m supervising.

What I’m really dreaming of?
Someone who is home most of the time — maybe a retiree or someone who loves pottering around the house and garden. I don’t need wild adventures, I just need you.

Storms aren’t my favourite thing in the world. When the sky starts rumbling, I like to be close to my human where I feel safe. I’ll need to be secured if you head out — I’m loyal to a fault and just want to know my person is coming back.

The good news?

*I’m good with children

It is a hard no to those furry little “meow” creatures (respectfully, they are not my vibe)

At 9 years old, I’m past the silly puppy chaos. I’m calm, loving, and just want a steady home where I can be someone’s shadow and best mate.
