Meet Coco, a gorgeous little 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix.

Coco is an extremely nervous boy who needs time, patience, and understanding to feel safe. He doesn’t rush into friendships, but once his trust is earned, it’s incredibly special. Because of his sensitive nature, Coco will need a quiet, calm home with no children, where he can decompress and learn that the world isn’t such a scary place.

Coco’s ideal owner will have some understanding of dog behaviour and be happy to take things slowly, letting Coco set the pace as he builds confidence. He loves to explore his surroundings in his own way, carefully gathering information and learning about the world around him. With the right support, his curiosity really shines.

Coco may also benefit from having a well-socialised, calm doggy companion to help show him the ropes and boost his confidence.
