Nature
Silk is the ultimate charming gentleman with a personality to match. While he was a bit shy at first, he has blossomed into a social and curious boy who genuinely loves company and being amongst the action. He is incredibly well mannered and relaxed, that his vet even calls him the “perfect patient”. He is the perfect balance between an affectionate lap cat, who loves cuddles and chin rubs, and an independent spirit, who likes to move at his own pace and on his own terms.

Silk will cheerfully greet you at the door and happily chat away, to tell you all about his day. When he isn’t following you around, you will find him playfully wrestling with his feline friends or demonstrating his athletic skills jumping and chasing a wand toy.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Silk is a friendly guy who enjoys meeting visitors, but as he likes his own space, he would be best suited to a mature home with older children, as high-energy toddlers might be a bit loud and overwhelming for him.

He thrives on kitty companionship and would need a playful brother or sister to wrestle with, groom and get the zoomies together. He is a total kitty socialite! The bond he has formed with his foster brother has shown he is happiest & most confident with a fellow kitty by his side.

He hasn’t met any doggos yet, so a cat-focused home would be best.

My PURR-fect home would be a peaceful, low-stress sanctuary with a playful kitty friend and a family who would love a chatty, loyal, well behaved gentleman. I am looking for a mature home with older children, preferably no dog – just a quiet place where I can feel safe, play with a friend and share my love (on my terms, of course!)
