About Mia (Mimi)
Meet Mia (affectionately known as Mimi) 💛
Mia is a gentle, shy little soul looking for a calm, loving home where she can truly flourish. She may be timid at first, but her sweet nature quickly shines through, especially when she’s chatting away to the humans around her. A thoughtful observer, Mia finds comfort in watching the world and soaking up the sights and sounds of her surroundings.
Mia has had a difficult start in life and is still learning that people can be kind and safe. Because of this, she will need a patient and understanding family who is happy to let her set the pace as she builds confidence and trust.
Her ideal home will be an indoor environment, with plenty of daily enrichment and space to stretch her wings. She will need to be on a diet of high quality pellets and fresh chop daily.
With the right family, Mia will continue to grow in confidence and show just how special she is. She has so much quiet affection to give and is ready to begin the next chapter of her life in a home filled with patience and kindness.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and allows us to determine whether an animal is suited to your home and family and vice versa.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted via the Pet Rescue Website. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. We have a 2 week trial period to allow the animal to settle into your home and ensure the animal and you are happy. During this time, the animal can be returned to Forget Me Not Rescue for a full refund of the adoption fee.
All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
