About Chickpea
Meet Chickpea, a soft-hearted dog with a big personality! Although he has had a tough start, Chickpea is eager to learn and will thrive with some extra support as he navigates through life.
He is best suited as a solo pet in a calm, routine household with experienced adults or teens who are around on a part-time or full-time basis. Chickpea would benefit greatly from a family who are committed to helping him build confidence and good habits as he learns to settle in at his own pace.
Whilst Chickpea doesn't always love pats, he'll happily follow you around like a second shadow. With some patience and steady guidance, Chickpea shows lovely potential and is ready to grow into a loyal and loving companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
