About Percy *9 Lives Project Rescue*
Percy is a stunning black cat with a beautiful glossy coat who was rescued from the streets and is now searching for a quiet, loving forever home where he can finally feel safe. Life hasn’t always been kind to Percy, so he can still be a little startled by loud noises and sudden movements. Because of this, he would do best in a calm, peaceful household where he’s given the time and space to settle in at his own pace.
Once Percy begins to feel comfortable, his gentle and affectionate nature slowly reveals itself. He truly enjoys human companionship and loves a soft pat, often flopping down onto his side to make the most of the attention. These tender moments are made even sweeter by his beautiful, soothing purr, a sign of how much he appreciates feeling safe and cared for 😻
Percy would also love a home with another friendly feline companion, as the presence of a calm cat helps him feel more secure and confident. He finds comfort in having a buddy nearby and does well when he’s not alone.
Percy is looking for someone patient and understanding—someone who knows that trust takes time and is willing to let it grow naturally. In return, he will reward you with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and a deep sense of gratitude. 1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
