About Nova
I'm a gentle, quiet girl with a soft heart, and while I may not be the first one to run up and greet you, I promise I'm worth getting to know.
When I first arrived in foster care, everything felt big and a little scary. I spent a lot of my time tucked away in safe little hiding spots while I worked out whether the world was a kind place. With patience, a steady routine, and lots of gentle encouragement, I've come a long way. These days you'll often find me relaxing on the sofa or curled up on a rug instead of hiding away. That's a pretty big achievement for me!
I'm still quite shy, especially around loud noises, sudden movements, or new people. If visitors come over, I'll probably disappear until things are calm again. My confidence grows best in a peaceful home where I can take life at my own pace.
Evenings are my favourite time of day. That's when my brave side comes out! I might come looking for you, ask for a few gentle pats, or quietly keep you company. I also enjoy playing with my toys when no one is watching-I like to save my zoomies for the nighttime!
I'm a great eater, enjoying wet food morning and night with biscuits to snack on throughout the day. I'm also very good with my litter tray and have settled into a routine beautifully.
One thing my foster family wants everyone to know is that I am incredibly gentle. I've never shown any aggression, even when I've been frightened. I just need someone who understands that trust takes time. Once I feel safe, I slowly start to let my true personality shine.
I think I'd be happiest in a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that the best friendships aren't rushed. If you're looking for a calm companion and are happy to let me blossom in my own time, I think we could make a wonderful team.
Could you be the person I've been waiting for?
Love,
Nova
