At just 9 months old, Crossy has an old soul. He often sits back and quietly observes the world around him, taking everything in with his big, curious eyes. Thereâs something wonderfully calm and thoughtful about him, like heâs been here before.
Crossy enjoys all the simple pleasures in life â good food, playtime, and daily walks. He has an independent streak and is happy to entertain himself, whether thatâs stretching out in a sunny spot or relaxing nearby his favourite human. He doesnât need to be the centre of attention, but he loves being close.
Heâs also off to a fantastic start with his training. Croissant has quickly mastered toilet training in foster care and already knows how to sit on command. With his quiet intelligence and willingness to learn, he will thrive with continued positive training and guidance.
In the evenings, his playful side comes out â his favourite routine is âdeconstructingâ his toys across the loungeroom before curling up for a cosy snooze.
Crossy came into care with only three legs, this does not define him and certainly doesnât slow him down, he takes every day in his stride and easily keeps up with his four legged foster siblings.

Croissant is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
