Meet Bagel, a very shy and timid 7-month-old boy who currently finds the world a pretty overwhelming place 🥯💛

Bagel is what we lovingly call a project cat - not broken, not difficult, just scared and still learning that people and homes can be safe. He's looking for a cat-savvy person or calm couple who understands that trust is earned slowly and that progress comes in tiny, beautiful steps.

Busy households and young children would be too much for Bagel right now. He needs a quiet, predictable home where he can move at his own pace and retreat when things feel big. He will need to be indoor-only, where he can feel secure and protected while he builds confidence.

Bagel may really benefit from having a confident, friendly feline companion to help show him the ropes - a calm cat who can model all the good things about lounging, playing, and trusting humans.
