About Poncho
PONCHO WOULD LOVE A HOME WITH HIS BEST FRIEND SPOTTY.
Meet Poncho, a charming male Jack Russell Terrier with a heart full of love to give. Despite his initial shyness, Poncho is a little bundle of joy who is incredibly affectionate once he feels at ease.
Poncho has recently transitioned from a deceased estate, which has left him feeling somewhat confused and uncertain. Nonetheless, he has formed a strong bond with his little friend, Spotty, at the kennels, proving that he has a social side and the potential to adapt to a new environment with time and patience.
When first approached, Poncho may seem a bit reserved, but it won't be long before he warms up to you. Once he trusts you, expect to be smothered with kisses and enjoy many tail-wagging moments together. He deeply enjoys being petted, and you'll find that a few gentle pats quickly win him over.
We are not sure if Poncho is house trained.
We are not sure how he will go with a cat.
Poncho thrives best in the company of other dogs similar to his petite stature, making him a great addition to a household with existing furry friends. He would fit well into a peaceful home where his gentle spirit is nurtured, and where he can continue to build his confidence.
Poncho is looking for a compassionate family that will shower him with love, understanding, and stability as he settles into his new life. If you're ready to open your heart to this endearing little fellow, Poncho promises a lifetime of devotion and companionship.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
