About Lexi
Breed experienced preferred
Dog Selective (open to meet dogs)
Open to meet kids 16+
Excelled in basic training
Lexi is your classic “velcro dog” — she loves being by your side and will happily sneak in for a cuddle whenever the opportunity arises. If you’re not paying attention to her… she may let you know about it (politely frustrated but very committed to being noticed).
Lexi is a smart cookie who already knows how to sit, drop, and roll over — she’s currently working on shake and would appreciate applause for her efforts. She also walks beautifully on lead, making her a great adventure buddy.
She’s dog selective, meaning she enjoys the company of some dogs but not all. With the right match and some post-adoption training, Lexi has the potential to truly blossom — social butterfly era pending.
Lexi will need secure fencing and plenty of walkies to burn off her energy and keep her happy. She’s active, outgoing, and a bit boisterous, so she’s best suited to meeting kids aged 16 years and up who can keep up with her enthusiasm.
If you work full-time, Lexi is okay with having some solo time — but if you work from home, be warned: she will absolutely take the opportunity to sit directly under your legs and supervise your productivity.
If you’re looking for a clever, affectionate, energetic companion who will keep you moving and keep you company, Lexi is ready to join your life.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
