About Asteroid
Meet Aster, a stunning blue point Ragdoll with bright eyes, a big voice, and an even bigger heart 💙
Aster's story hasn't always been easy. He was originally found as a stray in heartbreaking condition - matted, underweight, and clearly having had a tough time. Thankfully, a loving family took him in and showed him that humans can be kind, safe, and full of cuddles. Thanks to them, Aster now adores indoor life and absolutely thrives on human companionship.
With people, Aster is a total smooch. He's incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and very talkative - he'll happily chat to you about his day and curl up close for snuggles. He's confident around the house, friendly with family members and welcoming with visitors too.
Aster is also playful and highly energetic, and this is where his ideal home setup becomes important. While he loves humans, he really struggles living with other cats. He becomes stressed and can lash out, and although some of his behavior seems more like overexcited play than true aggression, multi-cat life just isn't the right fit for him. He'll be happiest as the only cat in the home, where he doesn't feel frustrated or overwhelmed.
When anxious, Aster may spray, so he'll need a patient owner who understands that stress behaviors come from feeling unsure - not from being a "bad" cat. In the right calm, cat-free environment with plenty of playtime, enrichment, and attention, he can truly relax and shine.
Aster is looking for a home where:
- He can be the one and only feline
- He gets lots of interaction, play, and companionship
- His humans understand Ragdolls are social, people-loving cats who don't like being lonely
If you want a chatty shadow, a couch cuddle expert, and a playful personality all wrapped up in a gorgeous fluffy package, Aster might just be your perfect match.
