PLAYFUL GIRL!
- Hi, I’m Rosie. I’m soft, silky, shiny and sweet but I do have small sharp thorns. I’m a bit like a delicate rose that is soft to touch and pretty to look at but if you try to pick me up my thorns can prick you accidentally as I don’t really like be lifted up.
- I can be shy but I can also be very loving and follow you around watching everything you do. Especially if you are in the kitchen (where my favourite thing is) or the toilet. Once I can trust you, I will just want to be with you.
- I love toys, they are fun. Balls are great to chase and so are mice.
- A great place for a cuddle is on your lap. So if you’re sitting on the sofa in the evening, watch out as I may jump up and make myself very comfortable. When I’m getting cuddles I purr so loudly I can be heard in the next room, so I’ve been told.
- Once I start feeling comfortable and safe I don’t mind new people or visitors but I will keep my distance. I’m not really sure about children, especially if they run a lot and are loud. This scares me and I will hide.
- I’ve made good friends with my carers dog and I really love their cats too. Being outside in a safe environment is great fun but I mostly like being inside curled up somewhere comfortable and warm sleeping away the day. At night you will probably find me snuggled in between your feet.
- My carers feed me dry biscuits and raw food with a little bit of kitten food. I love my food, it’s one of my favourite things.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $330 includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
