Don’t let her "supermodel" cheekbones fool you; Benny is a world-class affectionate powerhouse. She doesn't just "sit" near you—she claims your lap.
Lap Magnet: If you are sitting down, Benny is moving in. She is a dedicated lap cat who craves physical closeness.
The Cheek Scritch Connoisseur: Her love language is simple: scratch her cheeks, and she will be your best friend for life. She’ll lean into your hand with enough enthusiasm to tip herself over.

Benny operates on a very specific frequency. While her head might be full of static, her heart is incredibly full of love.
High-Fashion, Low-Logic: Benny is hilariously expressive. Whether she’s staring at a wall or judging a feather toy, she looks iconic doing it. She is physically incapable of taking a bad (or boring) photo.
The "Zoomie" Specialist: Like any kitten, she has her moments of peak athleticism where she’ll sprint through the house with chaotic joy. But she always circles back for a "recharge" snuggle once the energy runs out.

Wants a shadow who will follow them from room to room just to see what’s happening.
Benny may take a day or two to warm up to other cats/kittens, but after introductions are made, she’ll be their best friend.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
