Meet Jessie! 🐕
PERSONALITY:
Cuddly, playful, shy, enthusiastic, wistful, affectionate and so much more. His little face beams with love when he is around you or sees you coming toward him. Jessie is an innocent young boy who has had a lonely life without love and now hais people with all his heart.
Jessie can be a little shy when introduced to new people, he just needs of smidge of encouragement and the love will flow revealing his beautiful nature. A sociable young chappy, Jessie loves all dogs and will play with all who want to join him, no mater what size. He is socially park acceptable, cafe acceptable and shows off his beautiful personality when playing.
TRAINING: (sleep, toilet, crate training, commands/tricks, leash walking?)
Jessie has learnt crate training, house training and has good eating manners. At bed time he happily jumps into his crate and sleeps right through until your feet hit the floor and then its straight out for toileting. He melds into the house routine very easily and has adapted to his foster care without even a blimp.
Jessies lead training for gentle walks around the burbs has been excellent, he greets other dogs, sits on command and can stay focused on his walk with encouragement from his walker.
PERFECT HOME: (are they tested on children, other dogs & animals, level of exercise, acerage/suburbia, need another dog?)
Jessie is seeking a home that understands she is still learning. She has not had a normal upbringing and has not enjoyed a lot of experiences. You are her teacher and need to provide patience in abundance, a loving home that isn't crazy and establish a good routine for her.
His ideal home should have ample love to share and a commitment to ongoing training. He would thrive in a household with any combination of humans but possibly might be too much for very young children. Jessie is looking for a family that will enroll him in obedience training and provide the necessary exercise and social interaction. If you are going to be home with him, he can be an only dog, if not then his forever home must include another dog to assist in building his confidence in both people and the broader world.
Jessie is in foster care with other dogs and family cats. The cats scare him so he will not go near them. He does enjoy playing with the other dogs and has now started to enjoy life as an included adorable addition to his foster family.
Jessie is such a great dog and will undoubtedly fill the hearts of his adopters. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he promises to bring joy and love to your everyday life. Jessie's journey of learning and growing awaits in a patient and nurturing environment. If you can offer him the love, guidance, and companionship he needs, you may just find that Jessie is the perfect addition to your family.
Smooches and pooches!
