Meet Socks - a gentle, affectionate boy with a soft heart.
This sweet grey tabby has shown us that once he feels safe, he loves human company. Socks happily comes forward for attention, leans into long, calming strokes, and gives the sweetest head bunts. When relaxed, his whole body softens and his tail waves in loose, happy swishes.
Socks is FIV‑positive, but this doesn't slow him down or affect his loving nature. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy, happy lives indoors with good care. He will need to be an indoor‑only cat and would do best as the only feline in the home.
He can become overwhelmed by loud noises, busy rooms, or sudden movements. When stressed, he may retreat to a high perch or become tense, so he'll thrive in a calm, predictable household with someone who understands sensitive cats. With gentle handling and a quiet space, he settles beautifully and his affectionate side shines.
