About Nala rsua004201
Meet Nala, a stunning tortoiseshell beauty with a personality as vibrant as her coat. This young senior lady is the definition of a lady who knows her own mind. As is typical for a Tortie, everything is on her terms. Independent and self-assured, she prefers to observe the world from her throne rather than fuss over toys. Nala is a lady who lives life at her own pace and will decide who she does or doesn't cozy up to.
Although Nala isn't fond of human males, she has a soft spot for quiet, peaceful homes without a lot of hustle and bustle. She is more likely to seek the company of calm individuals who appreciate her unique personality. If you fall into her circle of trust, you'll find her snuggled up in your lap, ready to shower you with the kind of affection only a feline can offer.
Nala will need a bit of time to acclimate to her new environment and family, but once she has settled in, she will be a loyal and quiet companion. Her ideal home is one where she can peacefully curl up and enjoy the tranquility she loves, without interruptions from a boisterous household. If you offer Nala the understanding and patience she needs, she will reward you with her quiet company and the occasional, nonchalant purr. If you have a heart for a feline who dances to the beat of her own drum, Nala may very well be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
