Freddie is a 2-year-old Kelpie cross with a stunning black coat, a strong athletic build, and a heart that is desperate to belong. Freddie has a beautiful deep personality, he is gentle with children and other dogs making him the perfect family dog.

Sadly, Freddie was abandoned around Christmas and spent time in an outback shelter. He carries a few physical scars from his past, but they don’t define him; what defines Freddie is his resilience, affection, and eagerness to please.

This boy is a classic working breed:

Freddie would thrive with someone who understands working dogs, he’d be amazing as a tradie’s companion, a farm or acreage dog, or an active household where he can be involved in daily life and get plenty of stimulation and attention.

🐕 Training & Home Requirements:
Freddie is still a big puppy at heart and is learning his manners:

Working on lead walking (pulling comes from excitement, not aggression)

Learning not to jump, again this comes from excitement

Best suited to high fences

Recommended for families with children aged 10+

Would love a home with other active dogs

Because Freddie is a working breed, ongoing training is essential and must be something adopters are genuinely committed to.
