Freddie is a 2-year-old Kelpie cross with a stunning black coat, a strong athletic build, and a heart that is desperate to belong. Freddie has a beautiful deep personality, he is gentle with children and other dogs making him the perfect family dog.
Sadly, Freddie was abandoned around Christmas and spent time in an outback shelter. He carries a few physical scars from his past, but they donāt define him; what defines Freddie is his resilience, affection, and eagerness to please.
This boy is a classic working breed:
āļø High energy
āļø People-focused
āļø Smart and trainable
Freddie would thrive with someone who understands working dogs, heād be amazing as a tradieās companion, a farm or acreage dog, or an active household where he can be involved in daily life and get plenty of stimulation and attention.
š Freddie at a Glance:
2 years old, Kelpie X
Desexed, microchipped & wormed
Loves fetch, playtime, and other high-energy dogs
Very affectionate loves cuddles on the couch or bed
Strong, athletic, and built for action
Eager to learn and keen to please
Great on the lead, Fantastic at Fetch
Did I mention that he absolutely loves to snuggle with you
š Training & Home Requirements:
Freddie is still a big puppy at heart and is learning his manners:
Working on lead walking (pulling comes from excitement, not aggression)
Learning not to jump, again this comes from excitement
Best suited to high fences
Recommended for families with children aged 10+
Would love a home with other active dogs
Because Freddie is a working breed, ongoing training is essential and must be something adopters are genuinely committed to.
š” The Right Home:
Freddie needs someone patient, active, and understanding. Someone who sees his potential and is willing to guide him. In return, he will give unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and so much love.
This boy wants nothing more than to be someoneās shadow, adventure buddy, and couch snuggle companion.
Love & licks!
