About Ivory rsta015164
Meet Ivory, a stunning white lady with mesmerizing blue eyes that will capture your heart in an instant. She is an exceptionally sweet and friendly gal who navigates the world with a unique sense of curiosity and character. Ivory's inquisitive nature ensures she'll be a delightful and engaging addition to any household.
While her striking appearance speaks volumes, Ivory is also a special girl due to her deafness, which is not uncommon in blue-eyed white cats. This only adds to her charm, though it does mean she must be indoors for her safety. Although she cannot hear, Ivory communicates with her own unique vocalizations, which can be a touch louder than average since she can't hear herself.
Ivory would thrive in an environment where her family already has experience caring for a deaf feline, canine, or even human. This familiarity will ensure that Ivory feels understood, safe, and loved. Despite her special needs, she exhibits a remarkable resilience and zest for life that can be truly inspiring.
If you're ready for a loving and inquisitive companion with an angelic presence, Ivory will bring boundless joy and a delightful sense of companionship to your home.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
