About Alphabet
Alphabet is a super social, loveable girl with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. She adores playing with other dogs and, while she’s still learning her manners, her enthusiasm is impossible not to smile at. She loves swimming, long walks, and tossing her toys around — basically, if it’s an adventure, Alphabet is in.
She’s incredibly smart and picks things up quickly during training sessions, which means she’d make an awesome trick dog or training buddy. She also crates like an absolute dream — once she’s in, she knows it’s chill time and settles beautifully.
Alphabet is the definition of an adventure buddy. She’s confident, curious, and always willing to give everything a crack, even if she’s a little unsure at first. She’ll happily lead the way and figure things out as she goes.
Ideal Home
Alphabet would thrive with an active family who love getting outdoors and can keep up with both her adventures and her ongoing training. She has so much potential and would shine with people who enjoy teaching and engaging with their dog.
Energy Level
Pretty active! Alphabet sometimes struggles to take breaks on her own, but she’s very familiar with her crate and uses it well to switch off and relax.
Suitability with Children
Alphabet is fine with children, provided they understand dogs and can respect when she does or doesn’t want interaction.
Suitability with Other Pets
Dogs: Alphabet is super playful and loves other dogs, but she’s still learning to read their cues. She would do best with an older or calmer dog who can gently show her the ropes and help her learn what’s appropriate.
Cats: Not tested.
Fun Facts About Alphabet
- She greets everyone by rolling straight onto her back and waiting for belly scratches.
- She loves the ocean… but often forgets that she can’t drink the seawater 😂
Alphabet is a joyful, enthusiastic girl who’s ready to find her forever adventure partner — could that be you? 💙

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
