Tabitha

Tabitha is a gentle, affectionate tabby with the sweetest nature and a quiet dignity that makes everyone fall in love with her.

When Tabitha first appeared at our door, it was clear she had once known people. She was friendly, trusting and seemed to be looking for help. Sadly, she had likely been abandoned and arrived at a time when she was in serious medical distress after beginning to miscarry. Without urgent veterinary care she would not have survived, but thanks to emergency surgery and a great deal of quiet resilience, Tabitha pulled through.

Now fully recovered, Tabitha has embraced indoor life beautifully. She has a wonderfully proper little posture that makes her look very dignified though when it comes to mealtime, her enthusiasm still shows a hint of her street-survivor days.

Tabitha is affectionate, calm and loving. She enjoys being near her people, curling up somewhere soft and cosy, and watching the world go by from a safe spot. She explores new spaces gently and at her own pace, bringing a peaceful presence to the home.

She has been wonderfully patient with other cats and handles their attention with calm grace, making her well suited to a multi-cat home. While she hasn’t yet met dogs, she may do well with a respectful, cat-savvy one.

Tabitha is a truly special girl who has overcome a very difficult start to life. She is now looking for the forever home she deserves, one where she will always be safe, loved and cherished.
