On Hold
About Socks - 3 Month Old Bull Arab X Kelpie
Socks is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with soulful eyes and an adorable quirky ear. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people or encountering new situations, preferring to observe quietly at first. Once she feels safe, she becomes affectionate, cuddly, and very devoted.
She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is learning to use a doggie door (though she still needs reminders for toileting). Socks is intelligent and eager to learn, with a lovely mix of calmness and playful energy.
Socks would thrive in a home with:
• A confident, friendly resident dog to help build her confidence
• An active family who enjoys walks and mental enrichment
• Someone home during the day if no other dog is present
She has been socialised with another puppy and plays well. Socks has also lived with a 10-year-old child, enjoying ball games and chase, and is suitable for children 8 years and older.
Important information:
• Must be welcome inside when people are home
• Needs secure fencing (not suitable for rural mesh or wire fencing)
• Puppy training classes strongly recommended
Socks is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to grow in confidence and blossom into a loyal, devoted companion.
Her siblings Missy and Indie are also available for adoption.
Her adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
She is in foster care in Umina Beach, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
