Coconut

Meet Coconut, a cuddly, smoochy boy who's a little timid at the moment. Coconut was rescued from his environment so he's a little quiet and shy at the moment so starting him in a small 'launch' room until he settles, would be the ideal. He becomes overwhelmed in large open spaces. Scratch posts/cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers will provide Coconut with ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house. We recommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Coconut will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before he shows his true self! We also recommend a home with only older children or teens who can read/understand basic cat body language and know when to give Coconut space. Coconut may do well to have another calm social cat friend. He'd do best with a more confident or well established kitty in the home to help be his role model and guide in life.
