About Nelly
Meet Nelly - Your Future Best Friend đ
Nelly is a stunning 3âyearâold mediumâhaired calico with a purr that could power a small city. Truly-this girl's purr can be heard from a whole room away! She's one of the happiest, most content cats you'll ever meet, and she doesn't hesitate to show it.
Nelly absolutely adores people. If you're looking for a companion who will greet you, follow you, and shower you in affection, she's your girl. The only catch? She prefers not to share her humans. Nelly is at her best as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves.
This lovely cat comes with all the essentials already sorted:
âď¸ Desexed
âď¸ Vaccinated
âď¸ Parasite-treated
âď¸ Toilet trained
Nelly is ready to settle in with someone who wants a loyal, cuddly, people-focused companion. If you're looking for a cat who will make you feel adored every single day, Nelly can't wait to meet you.
To book a meet and greet with Nelly please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
