About Molly
Olive, Thea and Carl are just kittens - but already, they've learned fear far earlier than they ever should have.
When this sibling trio came into the shelter, they were terrified. Not naughty, or aggressive, just frightened in that heartbreaking way that happens when babies don't understand what's going on around them. Shelters are loud, unfamiliar places filled with strange smells, sudden noises, and constant change. For adult cats it can be overwhelming; for kittens, it can feel absolutely terrifying.
Kittens like Olive, Thea and Carl haven't yet learned that people mean safety. When they miss out on early stability, every sound feels like danger and every new experience feels like something to survive. So they freeze. They hide. They wait for the world to hurt them, even when it doesn't.
These three were given time in foster, and there, slowly and gently, they began to take baby steps. Tiny moments of bravery. Staying visible instead of hiding. Watching their carer from a distance. Learning, bit by bit, that soft voices and gentle hands don't bring harm. Progress for kittens like these isn't loud or fast, it's quiet, fragile, and incredibly meaningful.
This trio need adopters who understand that love doesn't rush. Homes where patience is endless, routines are calm, and safety is never questioned. They need people willing to dedicate the time it takes to help them grow into confident cats, people who will make sure these kittens never have to be scared again.
They don't need saving because they are dramatic or demanding.
They need saving because they are small, frightened, and deserving of a future where fear is no longer part of their story.
Olive, Thea & Carl are part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
