Meet Lucy
If you’re looking for a sweet, social little companion who’s equal parts snuggle and play, Lucy is your girl! This affectionate beauty has mastered the art of chill. Whether she’s lounging in the sun, joining a cat pile with her feline friends, or curling up beside you, Lucy radiates calm and contentment.
But don’t be fooled by her relaxed vibe — when the toys come out, so does her playful side! She adores a good chase, a wand toy, or pretty much anything that rolls. And when playtime’s done? Expect endless purrs and head bumps as her way of saying, “Life’s pretty great, thanks for sharing it with me.”
Lucy gets along wonderfully with other cats, greets new friends with ease, and might just charm you into sharing your snacks — she never says no to a tasty treat!
If you’re after a cat who’s perfectly balanced between affectionate, social, and delightfully chill, Lucy is waiting to make your home her happy place.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
