Chowder is a "slow-burn" kitten who rewards your patience with a lifetime of love. Once he trusts you, he has no trouble telling you exactly what he needs!
The Meow-nager: If you aren't providing enough pats, Chowder will politely (and then not-so-politely) meow at you until you fulfill your cuddling duties! 🗣️🐾
Your Personal Accessory: Chowder has a very unique hobby, he is obsessed with jewelry! He thinks your necklaces and bracelets are toys made just for him and will gently play with them while purring like a motor. 💍✨
A Total Smoocher: He loves to sleep right on top of his people. He’s even been known to try and climb your leg while you’re standing up just to get closer to your heart! ❤️
Sensitive & Sweet: Chowder can be timid around new things and might give a little hiss if he gets a fright. He just needs a patient human to show him the world isn't so scary. 🛡️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
