Astra is a big softie with an even bigger heart. An absolute sweetheart, she is sociable, friendly, and very food-motivated, training treats are definitely her love language. Curious and confident, Astra is still figuring out her long legs (hello, clumsy puppy moments) and charms everyone along the way.

She enjoys a good play but is just as happy to sit nearby and watch the world go by. Recently, she has discovered water and loves standing in the baby bath with all four paws getting wet, tiny splash enthusiast in the making.

Astra has been fostered with a 1-year-old Chihuahua, whom she adores. She happily follows his lead outside for toileting and is always up for a game with him. She has also lived with a 6-year-old child and confidently approaches for cuddles, especially when they are offered.

Gentle and passive, Astra is very comfortable being handled and melts for belly scratches. She is learning to use the doggy door and is starting to master “sit,” eager to please and quick to learn.

Even though we are based in Carnarvon, we have animals located in various locations and we can assist with some transport within Western Australia. Please check location of each animal before applying.
