About Steven

Steven is a smart cookie, thanks to his strong food motivation and eagerness to please. He knows his basic commands, and he's fully toilet trained, which will make settling him into a new home easier. However, Steven does experience stress when left alone for long periods, so he'd do best in a home where he can enjoy frequent companionship.
He appreciates mental enrichment, so puzzle toys or training sessions keep his mind sharp and engaged. Steven is tolerant of other dogs and can live with a companion but values human attention the most.

Adoption details
We run by appointment, preferably all members of the household to come meet the animal you are wanting to adopt.
If you own another dog, you must bring them along to make sure all dogs get along.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.
