About Ned
He’s a big guy who refuses to believe he’s too big to be a lap dog. He’s a loveable boofhead who needs a loving home where he can be a valued member of the family. Ned is an easy going dog who is happy just being around his people.
Ned is independent but loves nothing more than to lay by your feet if you’re working from home or watching the TV, or making himself comfortable on the couch sleeping the day away. He is good with children of all ages. He is patient and tolerant of toddlers and young children. He would suit a home where people are around most of the time, however he can be left on his own for periods of time during the day. Plus he only requires a 20-30 mins walk, after that the tank runs out of fuel.
He has found himself looking for a forever home after his owner passed away, and the rest of his family/ friends are unable to keep him.
He has lived with a smaller, active dog and children, but cats are untested. He can be boisterous and excitable upon meeting new dogs, but once familiar settles down. He has basic obedience, but like any Bulldog, he can be stubborn and strong-minded at times. His favourite trick is a handshake.
Being a typical English Bulldog, there are things to be aware of like; he snores, sometimes really loud when he’s having a great sleep and he can be gassy at times too!
Ned is fully house-trained and is comfortable using a doggie door to take himself in and out of the house as he pleases. He would be happy in a home with or without another dog, though he’d love a furry friend to share the days with.
He is a lovely boy who will make his new human a great mate.
Medical notes
Ned is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Medical notes: He can be prone to seasonal allergies in the spring months; however, this can be managed by a good diet
He will also need his nose folds, paws and ears checked and cleaned regularly toto keep these clean.
A bath isn’t his favourite thing so he will need plenty of treats to make bath time a positive experience for him
