About Mike
🌸 Hi! My name is Mike — and yes, I am 100% a cutie pie 🌸
I’m an 8-week-old Staffy x with a big heart, cute paws, and just the right amount of mischief to keep life interesting 😏
While we know mum is a staffy, dad's breed is unknown, so I'm a gorgeous mixed breed mystery! My foster mum says that this is the best 'breed'!
I came into care nice and young (3.5 weeks old!) with my four brothers and 1 sister (I know… absolute chaos). The rescue has made sure we’re growing up healthy, happy, well-loved, and full of cheeky puppy joy. We’ll have all our vet work completed and then it’s off to find our amazing furever homes!
👯 The Sibling Squad
There’s me — Mike! — plus Elle, Will, Lukas, Dustin, and Steve.
Don’t stress about names though… our foster mum mostly calls us
* sweetheart
* pup-pup
* baby
* hey-don’t-eat-that
* be-gentle, and
* who’s-a-good-pup-for-peeing-outside
— so yes, our names can absolutely be changed 😂
📌 Quick Puppy Facts (Before You Fall in Love)
• Our bios are similar — we’re still babies and our personalities are forming
• You can apply to meet more than one of us (just list the names)
• Only one pup per family (no littermates together)
• We leave care at 12 weeks of age
💖 My Personality
I can be a little shy when meeting new people or situations — but give me a few minutes and boom… confidence unlocked ✨
Once I’m comfortable, I’m playful, silly, affectionate, and honestly just a joy to be around.
I love cuddles. Like… really love cuddles. Couch? Lap? Floor? I’m there.
My brothers and I play gently… then not so gently… then apparently audition for WWE until foster mum reminds us we are, in fact, babies 🤼♀️🐶
🐕 My Ideal Home
My foster mum has said ideally I would go to a home with another friendly dog, but if you have family and can help me grow mentally and physically then that sounds good as well! But I do love having a doggy buddy to snuggle, play with, and help show me how to be a “big dog”. It also helps heaps with my social skills.
👶 Training & Social Life
• Living with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Kid-socialised ✔️
• Learning to sit for dinner (progress is… slow, because siblings have snacks 👀)
• About 85% toilet trained — hey, I’m only 8 weeks old!
• Learnt to use the back door super fast (mostly so we can keep playing outside 😇)
🏡 Daily Life
We have inside/outside access during the day, love curling up in the office for naps, then play HARD and crash HARD when foster mum leaves.
Crates? Yeah nah. We prefer to be where the big dogs are — uncontainable energy, you know 😌
🐾 Extra Bits
• Not cat tested yet, but young enough to learn easily
• Love grass, wet grass, mud… then cuddles after
• Baths happen often because we get filthy — but we make up for it with kisses 💋
✨ Looking for a best friend who will make you laugh, cuddle you endlessly, and grow up beside you?
That might just be me.

Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
