About Klaus (67918)
Meet Klaus, our handsome 37kg American Bulldog. At just 9 months old, Klaus is already showing all the classic traits of his breed, and his ideal home will be with someone who has previous experience with bully breeds. He's a big, strong young dog with plenty of potential, and with the right guidance he's going to make an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. Klaus came into our care through no fault of his own. We believe he previously lived with another dog and may enjoy the company of a well-matched canine friend in his new home. He does have a rough play style, so any dog introductions will need to be thoughtful and suitable for his energy and size. He may need some help adjusting to inside/outside living, along with ongoing support to build confidence and settle into a home routine. Klaus has shown some panic barking at times, so he'll benefit from a calm environment with clear structure, consistent training, and firm but fair boundaries. He thrives when he knows what's expected of him. Due to his size and youthful exuberance, we're recommending a home without small children. Older, dog-savvy kids aged 10+ may be considered. Klaus has not been tested with cats. If you're looking for a loyal, solid best mate and have the experience to help a young American Bulldog grow into his best self, Klaus could be your perfect match. Is Klaus your new best buddy?
