About Corkie
Meet Corkie š¾
Corkie is a confident, independent little man with a big personality packed into a small maltese x schnauzer body. Still adjusting to the big wide world and all its new sounds, he approaches life with curiosity, intelligence, and a surprising amount of confidence for such a compact guy.
Heās a smart cookie who learns quickly and loves figuring things out. Toys are a firm favourite, playtime is non-negotiable, and he truly enjoys the company of other dogs. Corkie is currently mastering the art of indoor living ā learning when itās time to chill, when cuddles are the best option, and (most importantly) identifying the perfect indoor zoomie track.
š” My Ideal Home
Corkie would thrive with active adults who enjoy daily walks, regular doggy catch-ups, and plenty of dedicated playtime. While heād happily tag along on adventures, heās also perfectly content staying home with another dog for company and fun while youāre out and about.
ā” My Energy Level
Corkie has a balanced, medium energy nature. As he settles into indoor life and routine, he is more than happy to find a cosy spot to snooze after his needs for exercise and enrichment are met. It's important to note he can sometimes find it hard to settle but this decreases when he feels more comfortable.
š¶ My Suitability to Children
Corkie would do best in a home without children or with older, dog-savvy kids 12 and up. Heās still learning about the world, and loud or unpredictable noises can be a little overwhelming for him.
š My Suitability to Other Pets
Corkie absolutely needs a dog buddy to share his life, toys, and daily fun with.
He hasnāt been tested with cats, but based on his personality, a cat-free home is recommended.
š§ Fun Fact
Corkieās two favourite things in life are cheese and toes (not together!). Heāll happily do just about anything for a bit of cheese. And if you like walking around barefoot, beware ā he has a quirky fascination with toes that usually involves gentle licking or nibbling.
Corkie is ready to find a home that appreciates his smarts, his playful spirit, and his delightfully quirky personality. š
