Monarchy is a beautiful young Maremmano-Abruzzese (Maremma) mix; an ancient Italian livestock guardian breed known for its impressive size, thick white coat, intelligence, and deep loyalty to her people. Once she feels safe and settled, Monarchy shows a gentle nature and a sweet smile that is hard to forget.

True to her breed, Monarchy is a thoughtful and independent dog who forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She is fully house-trained, generally quiet around the home, and walks well on lead, with only occasional pulling when something interesting catches her attention. Like many guardian breeds, she is naturally observant of her surroundings and will bark when she believes something requires attention.

Monarchy is a calm and peaceful companion who prefers routine and a relaxed home environment rather than high-energy play. She enjoys having her own quiet space where she can rest and feel secure. She has shown a gentle and affectionate side with the people and children she has met, though she would be happiest in a quieter household without young children where her calm temperament can shine.

Monarchy has had some difficult experiences in the past, and as a result she can sometimes be cautious around unfamiliar dogs or busy environments. Loud noises and crowded spaces may make her feel unsettled, so she will thrive in a calm, predictable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. For this reason, she would be best suited to a single-dog household, or potentially with a very calm and respectful canine companion who understands personal space.

Her nose is currently healing from a suspected sunburn, so she will need to avoid prolonged direct sun during hot summer periods.
