Every brave explorer needs a sidekick, and for Ernie, that sidekick is his brother, Bert! Ernie is the "quiet leader" of this duo. He’s the first one to step out and inspect a new room, test out a funky toy, or greet a new human to make sure the coast is clear for his brother. once Ernie gives his famous "purr of approval," the party really starts! 🎉

Ernie is an independent explorer with a heart of gold. He is incredibly inquisitive and easily entertained, give him a new space to sniff or a toy to chase, and he’s a happy camper! 🧭
The Cuddle Pot: While he’s brave, he’s also the biggest snuggler of the two. He loves to be tucked up right next to you whenever possible. 🛋️
The Scout: He takes his job as "big brother" seriously, scouting out new surroundings so Bert feels safe. 🛡️
Affection Style: If you want to get on his good side, chin scratches and belly rubs are the way to his heart! 💖

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
