About Shadow
Dog Selective (could benefit from a calm, confident companion)
Affectionate and enjoys attention
Would do well with dog savvy children
Has basic training
True to her name, this affectionate soul adores her people and thrives on human interaction and wants nothing more than to be your lovable little shadow following you from room to room soaking up all your attention.
Shadows confident with people and will introduces herself without hesitation (this may involve a bit of jumping, a little licking and a lot of love).
When it comes to other dogs, she is selective. She’d be perfectly happy as the only dog, or living with a calm, quiet canine housemate. She’s not really into rough-and-tumble play and prefers to do her own thing — think “roommates” not “roughmates”.
Shadow has nailed the basics but would benefit from ongoing training to help her be the best version of herself and with a little structure some positive reinforcement and ALOT of treats she’s sure to get there!
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal lady who will brighten your days and never want to leave your side, then without a Shadow of a doubt you’ve found your girl.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
